Teen Event: Shark Dissection

Take a deep dive into animal biology! Learn the ins and outs of shark anatomy in this hands-on, dissection-based workshop.  Teens will have the amazing opportunity to dissect a real dogfish shark! Learners will gain a thorough understanding of animal anatomy as they explore biology from the outside in. WHS Biology teacher John Croteau will lead participants through the dissection. How are sharks different from you? Or similar? The answers might surprise you! The group will dissect a two to three-foot-long dogfish shark. All dissection tools will be provided. Registration is required. This event is for teens entering 6th grade thru 12th.
