Join us as we kick off a summer of reading at the Lane Memorial Library with a block party! Attendees will be able to sign-up for Summer Reading and pick up an “Oceans of Possibilities” themed summer reading swag bag. We’ll be closing Academy Avenue near the library to make space for a ton of great activities! Enjoy free, live music with TJ Wheeler with Felix Taracena & Ayan Imai-Hall at 5:30 PM. Bring your bike to the Hampton PD 's bike safety demonstration and check out a Hampton Fire Department’s fire truck which will be on display. Bring a white or light-colored t-shirt from home and try out our gyotaku fish printing table! Bring a blanket and snacks for a BYOF community evening picnic. Kona Ice Truck will be on hand selling shaved ice. We'll also have The Balloon Twisters with Mr. & Mrs Dee!  Recommended for families of all ages.

Please note that Academy Ave at the parking area for the library and at the entrance from Winnacunnet Rd and the Winnacunnet Rd entrance to the municipal parking lot will be closed starting at 4PM.
