Solar Eclipse Livestream

Monday, April 82:00—4:00 PMWheaton J. Lane RoomLane Memorial Library2 Academy Ave, Hampton, NH, 03842

Hampton N.H. will be at 95% covered during the Solar Eclipse so be sure to grab your eclipse glasses and go outside to see it! In the event of cloudy weather or if you would like to see what the eclipse would look like in totality, we will be screening a livestream of the Elicpse in our Lane Room. Stop by to see the progression of the moon traveling in front of the sun.

2:16 PM: Partial eclipse begins. The moment the edge of the Moon touches the edge of the Sun is called first contact.

3:30 PM: Maximum eclipse. The deepest point of the eclipse, with the Sun at its most hidden.

4:39 PM: Partial eclipse ends. The edge of the Moon leaves the edge of the Sun.

NOTE: If you are viewing the eclipse outside, remember that the Sun will only be covered 95%. That means you will need to wear the eclipse glasses for the entire event to avoid permanent eye damage.
